1) Ability to carry out planned maintenance schedules.
2) All maintenance to be carried out in accordance to SANS 10400: Part T in accordance with BS 9999.
3) Routine testing is required by the user to ensure there is no major failure of the system, weekly testing to include manual call point tests to ensure satisfactory operation of control panel and alarm sounders in accordance with SANS 10400.
4) Routine maintenance dependent on risk assessment but maximum period between visits should not exceed 6 months.
5) Repair works as required to ensure efficient performance of the lifesaving system.
